Located in Spokane WA, Terrain is a pioneering non-profit building community and economic opportunity for the artists, makers and culture creators of the Inland Northwest. We work to ensure these local populations thrive, by creating award-winning programming consistently described as the region’s best.
In addition to Terrain's large-scale, annual events highlighting hundreds of artists and attracting 10s of thousands of attendees, Terrain also runs a retail storefront (From Here) showcasing the work of over 70 local artists; a gallery space (Terrain Gallery); an art-driven beautification program (Window Dressing); and a professional development program (Creative Enterprise) for artists and creative entrepreneurs.

Terrain believes in an inclusive, diverse, equitable, and just Spokane. As a community-building organization, we are devoted to being reflective of ALL citizens, including historically marginalized, disenfranchised, and oppressed peoples.
